oh it's an English summer

Constable, so this is an English Summer?
Hear 'An English County Garden' by Captain Grumblewart And The Cockney Rebel.

Sadly since I've taken leave of Chapel Hill for the summer I haven't kept up with the perpetual contest of Christian O'Connell's breakfast show contest. The latest seems to involve creating a summer hit about, well, Summer. Brazen enough to enter here are the rules. contest ends June 24th. My personal favorite would have to be 'An English County Garden' by Captain Grumblewart And The Cockney Rebel. Maybe it's all those Jane Austin novels and Libertines' song that built up this cute little idyllic English Summer in my head, oh we'll see how a fair this time next year in Brighton. Jane Austin's heroine Laddie Bennet and I shall be sea-bathing in Brighton, apparently tis a jolly good time.
